‘Survive That!’ continues it’s second series on Discovery Channel UK this month, featuring our own John Hudson, who finds himself immersed in a maze of underwater caves in Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula (16th April). We hope that you’ll manage to catch the show!
What’s it all about?
There’s survival, and then, there’s the game. In every episode of the series, one of the world’s leading survival experts is kidnapped, blindfolded, and dropped without warning into one of the harshest environments on earth.
The goal: find civilisation within 100 hours. But to win this game, you don’t just have to survive; you have to do it in style, as every move and every decision is watched and scrutinised by the other renowned survival freaks.
From Africa to Transylvania, across all extremes of temperature, and from 7,000-feet frozen peaks to bat-infested underwater caves, the survival experts test each other’s skills and seek bragging rights for the most wicked sense of humour. The brotherhood of survivalists – Terry, Jake, John and Matt – are joined by three newbies who dare to match wits. With reputations and bragging rights on the line, it’s man against nature (and his best friends) to complete the ultimate challenge: survive and escape.
