Last year after conducting the Coxless crews risk management and sea survival training here in Cornwall, the crew kindly requested that we could put our logo on the side of Doris, as one of the supporters of their incredible challenge. I promised that we would get something produced, as long as it has a use! In survival planning everything you prepare and carry on your unique journeys must have multiple function. I therefore said that I would get a sticker produced that has reflective qualities to improve the visual signature of Doris and the crew.
I contacted David Beer from Exium UK Ltd, who has a team of experts, who provide unique visual products fo many different clients. They have produced SOLAS marine grade high specification reflective decals, to the 2012 Atlantic Crossing Team.
The panels Dave and his team have provided for Doris have high reflective surfaces for long-range visibility at night under search and ambient lights.
Isabel from the team applied the stickers to Doris in Hawaii and admitted they look amazing!! Thanks go to David Beer and his Team at Exium UK Limited.
